Jonathan Drew Cropper is a respected brand strategist, global creative director, educator and futurist. He is the founder of Futurlogic Advanced Concepts — a highly confidential venture, design and branding studio — and the co-founder of the prestigious Lewis Latimer Fellowship Program, supported by Bill Gates' Breakthrough Energy Ventures.
He has designed and implemented innovation strategies with the leadership of Aston Martin, Credit Suisse Private Bank, Airbus, Feadship Yachts, the Four Seasons Private Jet Program, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, BIG Architects, NASA's Jet Propulsion Lab, Lockheed Martin, Ralph Lauren, Warner Bros. / DC Comics and Zaha Hadid Architects.
As Head of Global Real Estate, Aviation & Marine Partnerships for Aston Martin Lagonda, Jonathan led the brand's expansion into new industrial luxury verticals. At Nissan North America he served as Senior Manager and Head of Youth and Urban Communications — a unit he created — managing three agencies and a $100M annual budget across Nissan and Infiniti.
His career began at MTV / Viacom, designing the business plans for MTV's global expansion into Asia, Latin America and Africa, before being recruited by cultural icon Quincy Jones as Director of Business Development at QJE / Time Warner. He later served as Executive Creative Director and SVP at Young & Rubicam Brands / WPP, leading creative teams and an advanced mobile media think-tank for Sony, Vodafone, Starbucks, Telefonica, Jaguar and AT&T.
Jonathan was recognized by Brandweek Magazine as the "Best Marketer Under 40 in America." He advises several high-impact startups and sits on the steering committee of the Edison Awards — the "Oscars of corporate innovation." He holds a BA in International Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, and off the clock enjoys travel, supercar culture, modern design, multi-media art, first-edition magazines, beautiful architecture and science fiction.
